Positive: Great job with the layout of the essay and breaking up your ideas so your thesis made sense throughout the whole essay

Riley: I like how you made it evident that the students should be in charge of their learning and that you supported that idea in your thesis and throughout the essay. Your quotes matched your ideas very well and Percy was referenced perfectly.

Gabby: Very strong and supportive thesis that relates to the topic. Love that you say “students in the drivers seat” and the way you support your point throughout the essay with the use of Percy quotes and relates back to topic of essay and very straight to the point.

Maybe start your paragraphs where you are explaining you subpoenas, with exactly what your sub-point is, so readers don’t have to search for what each paragraph is about.

I liked the quotes you chose from Percy and they help prove your ideas. I also like the quotes you chose from Freire too.
