-Thesis: In a higher education setting a professor’s role is to educate and to prepare the student for academic success. In regards to Freire, students should become independent from the professor. To succeed at West Chester, they need to experience, learn, and set goals for themselves, not being helped or taught by the professor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
