In our group we talked about how college class size largely effects the success of a student. Large class sizes can be great, especially for people who are able to independently stay on top of their academics. Alternatively, they can be harmful to those students who are unable to focus in large classes, or need extra help in the class. It can also make students less likely or afraid to ask questions they may genuinely need answered. In large classes, students also tend to get distracted easily. Small classes also have ups and downs. They might not be the best for independent students, but are better for students who do need the extra attention.
