In my third week of discussion, we talked about if we agree with Paulo Freire’s ideologies about how people learn in general. The discussion group brought our individual opinion towards the concept. We came to the conclusion that Freire’s writing contradicted himself. Stating that individual can not be self-taught or taught my someone else. We all came to the disagreement of his belief in learning. I personally believe that people can learn from others teaching and individual experience. By getting taught by others, I learn the concept and their perspective. All in all, I believe everyone’s way of learning is different. Some might be better from getting taught by another person and others might think it’s easier to teach themselves.
