In this discussion group, we talked about how one should not take the path of shortcuts. We all came to the conclusion that taking shortcuts won’t benefit you in the long term. It is just temporary and how it is only cheating yourself. In academic wise, memorization is just a shortcut to pass the test but not actually learning the material. Professor post powerpoints and reads off from the powerpoint is basically a shortcut for them. Taking the easier route out is what people do but someday you will look on your life and realized that everything worthwhile you have ever accomplished initially challenged you. Shortcuts can make you miss the road, the surprises you see on the way and the feeling of accomplishment that you have done.
