In this discussion we discussed how comparing an experience to a previous one will affect the later experience. I think the first experience does affect the later one, because we go into the next experience with a mindset. If you had a poor experience the first time you did something, you are less to try it again and have an open mind about it. Also, when someone tells you about an experience they had before you experience it personally, that can ruin your time as well. We also discussed that Percy suggests ways for someone to have a better experience with something. You can’t go into something with your mind made up about how it’s going to be, because that could ruin the whole outcome of the experience. We discussed that one bad experience should not ruin the next one, and that people should have more of an open mind when trying things out.
