Amazing essay! I think you essay is great, including a personal class definitely helps enforce and makes your essay credible, also like the quotes In every paragraph to support you reasoning. The only thing I would change is gong through and shortening it but it is not necessary.
I think that the way you connected the statistics class to Freire was very good, especially with your quotes. Also, it sounds like you are repeating yourself a little, otherwise it’s a very good paper.

I like the idea of having the statistics class connect to the students through using a survey to see what interests them, I think that’s a good way to get students more into what they are learning.
I think that you could add more onto your fourth paragraph such as why it is important for this interaction to happen.
